Do I need the book??
You might survive the module without purchasing the book – but you will need to do significant independent research on the internet (which you should be doing anyway) and refer to library copies of the book. You also need to be wary of some of the material you might find on the web which may be too simple or even inaccurate. Learn to distinguish between objective, reliable sources and those which are unsubstantiated opinion or secondary (and often plagiarised) sources.
